About SEMLOL
The Southeastern Michigan League of Libraries (SEMLOL) is a voluntary multitype
library cooperative that:

Establishes channels of communication among member libraries

Creates programs to encourage cooperative use of resources

Undertakes projects to address common issues
-
Works to enhance the quality of service in member libraries.
SEMLOL operates through membership contribution of staff time and resources
to its programs.

- Many thanks to all who attended the Fall 2011 meeting "Extending the Library's Reach: Mobile Apps and Effective Online Tutorials" held at Oakland Community College in Auburn Hills on November 18. Special thanks to speakers Rebeca Befus, Jeff Zachwieja, and Paul Gallagher for their informative and lively presentations. If you were not able to attend, please read Margaret Danowski's detailed minutes from the meeting.
- The announcement of the Spring 2012 meeting date, location, and topic are coming soon!
- Congratulations to SEMLOL Chair Colleen Streeter on the birth of Baby Jack (Jackson Streeter Scott) on November 6th. We missed you at the Fall Meeting, but we're happy you're both doing well!
- SEMLOL now has its own
Facebook page. "Like" us to receive announcements of SEMLOL activities and news of member libraries. Kudos to Colleen Streeter (Davenport University) for creating and maintaining the page.
